For me, the interrelating of figuration and abstraction serves to disrupt fixed categories of being, offering glimpses of othernesses beyond habitual perception and thought.
We are pleased to present a curated exhibition of work by American/Canadian painter Margaret Petersen. These works have been collected over many years and include iconic examples of the artist’s hand-coloured lithographs, and ink and tempera works from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
