"In August 2003 I came to Victoria for my first exhibition at Winchester Galleries. It was my first visit to your charming city. I discovered warm people and many inspired places. I drew for two weeks, and from these sketches I am presenting to you a series of café scenes, witness of my passing through Victoria. Also included in the exhibition are some recent paintings of Montreal subjects."
